Terms and Conditions

To confirm and order a deposit is secured after all specs are confirmed from the spec sheet shared between BakerBuilt and the customer. Once confirmed no changes are allowed to the order unless minor details are left open labeled as TBD between BakerBuilt and customer. 


Standard routine to place an order:

  • Retail price guide shared with customer
  • A one time phone conversation is scheduled to address all questions, options and concerns of an order.
  • After the phone chat a spec sheet is issued to you to confirm all final specs along with a communicated estimate.
  • Once confirmed an Estimate is forwarded via digital accounting for customer to Accept along with a Deposit Invoice. Once deposit is received the order is officially confirmed and moved into a production schedule. Final payment received when the order is ready to ship. Often a 2nd deposit is required as the guitar goes into paint which starts getting closer to a pending delivery window.
  • During the build photos are often exchanged between Gene and the customer to view and enjoy the process of creation. Sharing is just a courtesy action.
  • Confirmed orders are non cancellable or deposit is forfeited.
  • Any deviations within this routine will be communicated between Gene and customer directly.
  • Average build time will vary upon complexity of the order yet most average 4-6 months, some can be longer if there's a backlog of open orders.
  • Upon receipt of your instrument you have 48 hours to address any issues. After 48 hours normal Warranty policies apply for a Limited Lifetime warranty. 
  • In the USA all orders ship via UPS 2nd Day Air fully insured for its replacement value. 2nd Day insures a faster safer transit to you.

Return and Refund Policy

No refunds are offered while I will do my best to satisfy any problems with an order. This is a very rare near non existent occurrence.


A Return  policy consists of:

  • Terms of return must be Notified to BakerBuilt within 48 hours of receipt of the instrument
  • State of return must be same condition it shipped in. If damaged in transit that is taken up with carrier Insurance claims.
  • Reason for return explanation of any concerns related.
  • Process for return is to contact BakerBuilt and or your dealer, a RA # will be assigned upon confirmation. Return shipping is upon the customer while warranties will be returned at the cost of BakerBuilt within USA only.
  • Refunds are not allowed, if the item is not repairable to satisfy the order a replacement will be negotiated.
  • Any returns to warranty claims will be given an estimated work turnaround timeline.
